Sheffield tram service cancelled due to 'passenger illness'

A Sheffield tram service scheduled for this afternoon has been cancelled after a passenger fell ill, and needed an ambulance.

Stagecoach Supertram said their 12.28pm service was affected.

“Apologies but due to a passenger illness, requiring an ambulance the 12:28 departure from Meadowhall is now cancelled and will resume at Arena to Middlewood,” a spokesman for the firm said on Twitter.
