Sheffield Crown Court heard on March 10 how Daniel Hayes, 30, of no fixed abode, managed to get into his parents’ home on Keeton Hall Road, at Kiveton Park, Sheffield, despite being subject to a restraining order to stay away.

Bev Wright, prosecuting, said his parents had returned to find Hayes in their home and the defendant admitted that he had taken cash from their safe but claimed he would pay it back but he has not done so.
