Cash and mobile phones were stolen from a house after raiders threw a boulder through a patio door to get inside a house.

Three men targeted a house on Station Road, Brimington, near Chesterfield, and once inside demanded that the home owner showed them the safe.

The victim told the trio the property does not have a safe but the men continued to search the house and found cash and phones as they ransacked the place.

Police were told the men had their faces covered, were wearing gloves and spoke with Sheffield accents.

Witnesses or anyone with information about the raid at 7.30pm on Thursday, December 18 should call DC Mark Woodcock at Chesterfield police station on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
