Sheffield shop owner left ‘gutted’ after £30,000 worth of electric scooters stolen

A man is wanted by the police over the theft of electric scooters worth £30,000 from a Sheffield shop.

Daryl Cooper, aged 26 and from Sheffield, is believed to hold vital information about a burglary in Attercliffe on November 13.

Electric scooters worth £30,000 were stolen from Yorkshire Electric Scooters on Leeds Road, leaving the owner of the shop ‘gutted’.

The shop had only been open a few days when it was raided.

A total of 34 scooters were stolen, with a large number of people believed to have been involved.

The scooters have a distinctive design with the logo 'KUGOO' on all of them.

Police officers investigating the raid have named Cooper as someone of interest and have released his photograph in the hope of tracking him down.

He has also been recalled to prison.

Anyone with information about Cooper’s whereabouts is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 267 of 14 November 2020.
