Sheffield Magistrates’ Court heard on December 31 how Tyreece Daley, 20, of Sunny Bank, Broomhall, Sheffield, had been kicked-out of a nightclub on Arundel Gate, Sheffield, when police issued him with a 24-hour dispersal order to leave the city centre but he refused.

Daley was searched and found with plastic bags, according to prosecuting solicitor Rob Coyne, which contained class A drug MDMA and class B drug cannabis.

The defendant, who has previous convictions, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a dispersal order after the incident in June. He also admitted possessing MDMA and to possessing cannabis for personal use.

Janice Young, defending, said Daley is remorseful and he had been stressed because he was awaiting the outcome of an unrelated court hearing.

Magistrates ordered Daley to pay £497 in fines, costs and a victim surcharge.
