A new police team has been tasked with tackling issues in Page Hall, with residents claiming there are serious issues with drugs, prostitution, grooming, anti-social behaviour, fly-tipping and groups congregating on the streets at all times of the day and night.

South Yorkshire Police said: The Page Hall team executed a successful drugs warrant in the Robey Street area of Page Hall.

“Acting on recent intelligence a warrant was authorised and entry forced.

“One male was processed for class B drug offences and offensive weapons were taken out of circulation.”
