Sheffield Parkway now open in both directions following police incident
Sheffield Parkway is now open after it was closed both ways earlier this evening when police were concerned for the safety of a woman on a bridge
A spokesperson said: “Emergency services were called at around 5pm today (27 July 2020) following reports of concern for the welfare of a woman on a bridge over the Sheffield Parkway.
“Following discussion with specialist officers, the woman was brought to safety. She was not injured during the incident.”
The road was closed while emergency services responded.
