Sheffield Parkway crash: Police and ambulance rush to the scene as woman taken to hospital

A woman was taken to hospital after a collision on the Sheffield Parkway last night.

Emergency services were deployed to the incident at 8.50pm yesterday and found one vehicle had been involved.

They spent over three hours at the scene.

South Yorkshire Police said: “It is reported that the vehicle may have hit the grass verge.

“Police attended along with the ambulance service and the female driver was taken to hospital where her injuries are not thought to be serious.”
