Sheffield man’s legs ‘crushed’ in between cars after being hit by speeding driver
A man was unloading a car boot when he was hit and seriously injured by another vehicle on a road in Sheffield, it is understood.
Callum Chambers, 30, was reportedly taken to hospital with two broken legs and a broken arm, among other injuries, after the crash in Firth Park last night, Sunday, June 21.
One woman said the victim had a ‘massive hole’ in his leg following the smash on Firth Park Road.
“He was getting something out of his friend’s boot when he was struck by this car which had been speeding on the road, and his injuries are pretty serious,” she added.
Police said emergency services were called at 11.27pm to reports of a collision involving a BMW, an Audi Quatro and a Volkswagen Golf, in which three parked cars were also damaged.
Police added that nobody had been arrested and asked anyone with information to call 101, quoting incident number 1053 of June 21.
