Sheffield man who went missing from hospital found safe

Officers circulated an appeal yesterday evening (December 12) to trace Andrew Wilson who had gone missing while receiving medical treatment at the Northern General Hospital.

South Yorkshire Police thanked residents for sharing information that helped them to locate the 36-year-old after concerns were growing about his welfare.

Andrew disappeared from the hospital at around 5.15pm and where he was said to have noticeable head and facial injuries.
