Sheffield Crown Court, where Peter Jones admitted the offences

He previously appeared at Sheffield Crown Court on October 1, when he admitted offences of indecent assault on a male child and sexual assault on a male child.

Detective Constable Helen Barrett said: “Jones subjected his victims to sustained abuse over a period of years.

“They have been incredibly brave in coming forward and reporting what has happened to them; I’d like to praise them for their courage and resilience.

“I welcome this sentencing. I hope that knowing Jones is behind bars for a significant amount of time will help his victims to move forward.”
