Marcus Jamal rang the woman to demand she bring him a bag of his clothing, and when she refused, he threatened to crash his car into hers, prosecutor David Wain said.

He turned up at her home on September 1, last year, and when she passed a bag of his clothing through the window, he broke a pane of glass.

Ian Goldsack, mitigating, said Jamal had been in custody since December 4, because of laws surrounding his imprisonment in 2008, on an indeterminate sentence. An allegation he made threats to kill was later withdrawn.

On Thursday, Judge David Dixon gave Jamal, 37, of Crowland Road, 14 days in custody, and imposed a ten year restraining order.
