Sheffield Crown Court heard on May 29 how Jordan White, aged 25, of Bates Street, Crookesmoor, Sheffield, visited his former partner during the night and after an argument his ex fled to a neighbour’s home.

Hugh Edwards, prosecuting, said White was prohibited from visiting his ex’s home on Shirehill Road, Shiregreen, Sheffield, by a two-year restraining order imposed due to his previous behaviour.

Vanessa Saxton, defending, said White has spent five-months remanded in custody and accepts entering the property where an argument took place.

Judge Peter Kelson QC warned White he was getting in “deep water” by failing to comply with orders.

White was sentenced to six-months of custody but due to time on remand it is anticipated he will be released.
