Sheffield Magistrates’ Court recently heard how Mark Sully, aged 33, of Stubbin Lane, Firth Park, admitted causing damage to the car which belonged to a friend of his former partner.

Mark Hughes, prosecuting, told a previous hearing his ex-partner’s friend had gone to Sully’s current girlfriend’s address where a “commotion” developed between Sully’s ex and his current partner.

Mr Hughes said the defendant’s ex-partner got into her friend’s car before Sully jumped on the bonnet and landed two-footed on the windscreen.
