Sheffield man arrested over Kettle Black shooting remanded in custody following court appearance

The man who was arrested in connection with the shooting in Kettle Black cocktail bar on Ecclesall Road has been remanded in custody following an appearance at Sheffield Magistrate’s Court today (January 13).

Luca Premi, 24, of Treswell Crescent, Hillsborough, has been charged with possession of a bladed article, possession of an imitation firearm with the intention of other people believing it was real, and actual bodily harm.

He will remain in custody until he is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court, on February 10.

Just before 11pm on Friday 10 January, it is reported that a man walked in to Kettle Black on Ecclesall Road and assaulted a 36-year-old man.

The suspect is said to have been in possession of a firearm which he hit the man with, and at some point during the incident the gun is said to have been fired at the ground.

The victim sustained minor injuries during the assault.
