Sheffield man, 18, charged with murder after Ramey Salem shot dead
An 18-year-old has been charged with murder after a 20-year-old man was shot dead in Sheffield.
Ramey Salem, who was also known as Remey Saleh, was found with serious injuries at a house on Grimesthorpe Road South, Burngreave, in the early hours of Monday, November 16 and died later in hospital.
A post-mortem examination revealed he died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.
Jabari Fanty of Broadhead Road was charged with murder on Monday, November after being arrested on Friday, November 20.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said Fenty has also been charged with conspiracy to murder at Osgathorpe Park, Sheffield on 31 October, conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life between October 3 and November 17, and possession of an offensive weapon.
Fanty has been remanded to appear before Sheffield Magistrates Court on Tuesday, November 24.
Two 18-year-old men and a 21-year-old man remain in police custody after being arrested over the weekend on suspicion of murder
A 21-year-old man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and a 33-year-old man arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice last Thursday (19 November) have been released under investigation.
