Detectives hunting a Sheffield man and his three sons are to issue a nationwide appeal for help in tracing them on Crimewatch tonight.
Araf Mohammed, aged 66 and his sons Basharat Mohammed, 34, Nasarat Mohammed, 26, and Nasser Mohammed, 21 are wanted over an attack which left a Sheffield man fighting for life.
The 23-year-old victim was attacked after he got out of his car after being blocked by another vehicle on a road in Darnall.
During the incident, which happened at around 2.20pm on Monday, August 11, a number of men with weapons attacked him.
He suffered a number of stab wounds to his face, head and upper body and was taken to hospital, where his condition was initially described as life-threatening.
DC Rachael Burgin, who is leading the investigation, said: “Police have carried out extensive inquiries in South Yorkshire and beyond to try and find the Mohammed brothers and their father.
“We are now taking the step of appealing to the public around the country - I am confident that someone, somewhere knows where they are or could have information to help our investigation.”
Two men, aged 17 and 23, have been charged in connection with the incident are currently on remand.
