Sheffield Magistrates’ Court heard on February 27 how Georgia Alexandria Simons, 23, of Manor Park Way, Manor Park, Sheffield, collided with two parked vehicles after she had consumed two double gin-and-tonic drinks.

Mark Hughes, prosecuting, said Simons collided with one vehicle on Southsea Road, Sheffield, and as she manoeuvred she collided with another on January 17.

Simons told police she had consumed two double gin-and-tonics.

The defendant, who is subject to a suspended prison sentence for a previous offence, pleaded guilty to exceeding the drink-drive limit.

Louisa Gibling, defending, said Simons had only left the scene to get help from her dad.

Simons was fined £350 and must pay a £35 victim surcharge and £85 costs. She was banned from driving for 36 months.
