Police have described her as an “innocent bystander” who was shot outside of the One Four One bar on West Street.

Now, Tiger Works - another club on the same street - has announced safety measures to include security of the establishment, including full CCTV coverage with audio recording across the venue, a no-caps policy, random searches and mandatory checks of larger coats to prevent concealed items.

On Facebook, the bar’s management wrote: “Following this weekend’s tragedy, we would like to express our deepest condolences.

“Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the tragic shooting.

“Sheffield is our home, and we stand alongside our city, fellow venues, and South Yorkshire Police in supporting the community and prioritising safety.

“At Tiger Works, the safety of our customers and staff remains our highest priority every night. We have a zero-tolerance approach towards anyone who threatens the wellbeing of others within our venue.

“We will continue working closely with Sheffield venues and the police to help ensure our city’s nightlife remains safe and welcoming for everyone. If you see anything that doesn’t feel right, please speak to a member of our team.”
