Sheffield brothers jailed for drug crimes feature on tonight's Traffic Cops

Jerome and Seaon Thompson were intercepted by Derbyshire Police on April 24 last year as they drove from Bolsover to Sheffield.
Officers suspected the car was being used as part of a county lines operation.

Hide AdCounty lines gangs often use children and vulnerable people to courier drugs and money into Derby, or other towns in Derbyshire, setting them up in houses where the drugs are then dealt from.
Dealers then use a dedicated phone line in order to sell the drugs.
When the Thompsons were stopped, they were found to be carrying a large amount of drugs and cash. A knife was also found in the vehicle.
The Traffic Cops from Derbyshire Police located and follow edtheir target vehicle before forcing it to stop by surrounding it with unmarked police cars.

Hide AdJerome, 24, of Philadelphia Gardens, admitted possessing a knife and possessing crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply. He was jailed for 21 months.
Seaon, 27, of City Road, also pleaded guilty to possessing both drugs with intent to supply and was sentenced to 16 months in prison.

They were sentenced at Derby Crown Court in October.
