Second teen arrested on suspicion of murdering Sheffield dad Marcus Ramsay

Detectives investigating the death of a Sheffield father have made a second arrest.

Marcus Ramsay, 35, was stabbed during an altercation in Horninglow Road, Firth Park, in the early hours of August 8.

He was taken to hospital but sadly died as a result of his injuries a short time later.

A 17-year-old, from Sheffield, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday and brought in to custody for questioning.

Another 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with the murder of Mr Ramsay at the end of August. He is remanded in custody.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “We remain keen to hear from those with mobile phone footage of a street party in Horninglow Road which took place on August 7 in to August 8.”
