A second high-end Doncaster boutique was burgled in the early hours of Wednesday morning, it has emerged.
Angels Boutique in Thorne was raided on the same night as a gang made off with £15,000 worth of designer gear from Robinsons in Bawtry.
Police are yet to confirm whether they believe the two incidents are linked.
Fliss Lloyd, who runs childrenswear store Angels Boutique on King Street, said: “I walked in to utter devastation and more or less all the stock gone.
“I’m absolutely devastated. I am a mother-of-three as well as a businesswoman and I employ five other women with children too.
“This hasn’t just affected me, it’s affected us all. We are all gutted.
“I would appreciate it if any of my customers see anything or hear of anything, they contact the police on 101 and report it.”
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Police in Doncaster are investigating reports of a burglary at a commercial property on King Street in Thorne overnight between Tuesday, May 26 and Wednesday, May 27.
“It is believed that a number of items of clothing were stolen. Officers are conducting enquiries.”
Yesterday The Star reported that a gang raided Robinsons on South Parade in Bawtry and escaped with designer goods from such brands as Armani, Ralph Lauren and Hugo Boss.
The store is offering a £2,000 reward for information.
