Rotherham man appears in court over sex offences dating back 20 years

A man has appeared at court charged with 14 sexual assaults on young girls dating back more than 20 years.

Lee Wayne Crutchley, aged 44, of Victoria Street, Dinnington, is accused of three counts of rape, two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl aged under 13, seven counts of indecent assault and two counts of assault by penetration.

He has also been charged with production of cannabis.

Crutchley appeared before Rotherham magistrates on Thursday and was granted bail ahead of an appearance at Sheffield Crown Court on Thursday, January 2.

He has not yet entered any pleas to the charges.
