South Yorkshire Police officer Robert Veza, 44, in court over alleged sexual relationship with victim of crime
A trainee South Yorkshire Police officer has been charged with allegedly having a sexual relationship with a female victim of crime.
Former student police officer Robert Veza, formerly a police constable for a neighbourhood team in Sheffield, is due at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday (March 16) to enter a guilty or not guilty plea to the charge.

The 44-year-old, of Buchanan Road, Parson Cross, was in his probation period when he allegedly had a sexual relationship with a victim of crime, and is charged with misconduct in a public office.
He resigned in January of this year.
An internal misconduct investigation is being carried out alongside the criminal proceedings.
DC Gary Godwin, the officer in the case, said: "We understand how concerning an allegation like this must be to our communities.
“We remain committed to being as open and transparent as possible about the professional standards of South Yorkshire Police, to give the public confidence that when reports of this nature come to light, they are dealt with appropriately."
