Road re-opens after crash outside Sheffield hospital

A road outside a Sheffield hospital has re-opened after a crash earlier today.

A blue Toyota Aygo and a white Ford Transit van were involved in a smash on Barnsley Road Fir Vale, at around 10.18am.

The road was closed for around three hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Details of whether anyone was injured has not yet been disclosed.

A number of buses were diverted away from the crash scene earlier while investigative work was carried out.
