a REWARD of £2,000 is being offered for information leading to the conviction of the person responsible for shooting a family cat dead.

Emily Tredoux has been offered the cash by an animal lover who heard that her beloved 14-year-old pet cat, Hobbes, was shot dead as he roamed around outside his home on Pitsmoor Road, Burngreave, Sheffield, earlier this month.

Anyone with information about the shooting incident should contact the RSPCA or South Yorkshire Police on 101.
