The vigil, which is descrbed as being ‘for everyone who experiences misogynistic and gender-based opression on our streets’, will take place at Devonshire Green this Saturday, March 13 from 6pm.

It has been organised to coincide with UK-wide gatherings in response to the disappearence of 33-year-old York woman in London last week.

A man who is currently a serving Metropolitan police officer was arrested in connection with her disappearence on Tuesday and human remains were found in Kent yesterday.
