Police warn people to be on guard against fake NHS vaccine scammers
Police in South Yorkshire have warned people to be on their guard against coronavirus scammers.
Action Fraud has received reports of fake texts, claiming to be from the NHS, instructing people to sign up for the COVID19 vaccine.
The texts contain a link to an online form, which looks very similar to the real NHS website, where people are asked to input details.
A spokesman said: "Thankfully, the number of reports are relatively low but we have seen an increase in the last two months.”
