Police seize three uninsured cars during clampdown in South Yorkshire
Police have seized three uninsured cars as part of a clampdown in South Yorkshire.
Officers recovered the three cars after the drivers were all found to be without insurance during checks on Monday, December 30.
The team said: “A few exploits today from around the county starting with this lovely little red Seat Ibiza which was recovered by officers after the driver was found to be driving his wife's car, whilst not an offence, driving without insurance is.
“Next is this dark coloured reliable VW Golf, always a favourite, even for those with no license and no insurance, not to worry we'll look after it.
“Moving onto this sleek grey Vauxhall Astra, another reasonable vehicle, looked quite tidy as well, again we'll look after it whilst the driver who has a revoked license and no insurance gets sorted.”
They also recovered a stolen blue BMW 4 Series which had been taken in a burglary on December 29.
