Police searching for six men over alleged assault at Sheffield pub

Police have released CCTV images of a group of men they'd like to speak to following an alleged assault at a Sheffield pub, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

At approximately 1.30am, a 21-year-old man reportedly was in Walkabout when six men approached him, and one of them is then said to have smashed a glass bottle across the victim's head, leaving him with cuts to his head and neck.

As two door staff escorted the group off the premises, it is then believed that they assaulted the doormen.

One of the men suffered facial injuries and another punched in the head and kicked.

The six men then ran off.

In a statement, the police said: "We are now looking to trace the men pictured in connection with the incident.

"Do you recognise them? Please report any information via 101 quoting incident number 130 of December 21.”
