Police reveal new plan after yobs throw STONES at buses on Sheffield estate

Youths have been targeting buses on East Bank Road, Arbourthorne, and it led to some First South Yorkshire services being diverted last weekend for the safety of drivers and passengers.

At that time, yobs were targeting buses as they passed East Bank Medical Centre.

South Yorkshire Police said: “Over the past week South Yorkshire Police have received reports of anti-social behaviour occurring on East Bank Road, where youths have been throwing stones at buses attempting to casing damage.

“The Manor and Arbourthorne Team is working closely with First South Yorkshire and directed patrols will be conducted in this area to identify those responsible.

“If anyone can offer any information in relation to these incidents please contact 101 or make an online report via the South Yorkshire Police website.”
