Detectives investigating a stabbing in Sheffield have released a photograph of a man they believe is responsible.
Police are trying to trace Paul Cain, aged 23, who they believe carried out the series assault on Tuesday, December 23.
Officers were called to Heeley Band Road, in Heeley at about 9.50pm after receiving reports that a man had been assaulted.
A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with suspected stab wounds to his body.
He has since been discharged from hospital.
Detectives investigating the attack are trying to trace Cain, from Sheffield, and have released his photograph in the hope of locating him.
Members of the public have been warned not to approach him.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Officers are trying to trace Paul Cain, 23, from the Sheffield area, who is suspected of being responsible for the assault.
“Members of the public should not approach Cain.”
