Although South Yorkshire Police has been made aware of the footage circulating on social media, none of the victims came forward to report the firework attacks.

South Yorkshire Police said: “We are aware that footage is circulating on a social media account of fireworks being thrown on Ecclesall Road in Sheffield, reportedly from this weekend.

“We would ask those who are posting this footage to please share this with us and report the incident by calling 101 or online via the SYP website.

“The details of the incident shown on the footage have been passed to the local neighbourhood teams responsible for the area.

“The information will help shape their patrol plans as we approach the darker nights.

“Fireworks are dangerous and can have catastrophic consequences on people’s safety and property, as we approach bonfire night we are urging parents to talk to their children about the dangers.”
