Electrical items were stolen and a vending machine was broken into for the cash inside during a raid of business premises in Doncaster.
Sita, a waste management company on Whittington Street, Doncaster, was broken into overnight on Saturday, August 8 into and Sunday, August 9. A police probe into the raid is now underway.
Officers investigating the offence said the offender or culprits responsible are not yet known.
Damage was caused to the business premises during the burglary.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The SITA business premises in Whittington Road, Doncaster, was broken into by persons unknown, causing damage.
“A number of electrical items were taken during the incident, as well as a vending machine inside the building broken into and cash taken.
