South Yorkshire Police’s plane and helicopter were also deployed as officers swooped in the Lonsdale Avenue area of Intake in a bid to track down a man wanted in connection with a road traffic collision in Doncaster.

Officers searched local gardens in the street as well as nearby Wiltshire Road and Abercorn Road at around 8pm last night.
