Police plan online chat

Have your say

RESIDENTS in Brimington will be able to chat online and raise issues of concern with their local police officers in a ‘virtual’ surgery.

Residents can log on to the Derbyshire Constabulary website between 7pm and 8pm on Tuesday, August 16, and chat to officers from their local Safer Neighbourhood team.

Virtual surgeries allow members of the public to ask questions about local policing policy, raise community concerns and find out more about crime prevention from their homes.

PCSO Leanne Bradbury said: “This is an opportunity for those who can’t make it to meetings to let the police know about any issues or concerns they have.”
