Sheffield police picked up a car thought to be shared by criminals.

Residents of Bankwood Close in Gleadless Valley reported a suspicious vehicle in the area on Thursday night. When officers approached, two men got out and ran away.

When the officers checked the car, they found items ‘possibly for use in crime’. A spokesman said the car was ‘believed to be a pool car for local criminal activity’.
