Sheffield South East Neighbourhood Policing Team said there have been reports of youths throwing fireworks in the Lower Manor area and drug activity around Stonecliffe Road on the estate.

Last night, the team said: “The team continues proactive patrols. This evening, we have have conducted a number of stop searches, and obtained details of those we suspect to be involved in anti-social behaviour.

“We will feed this information back to partners who will look to take positive action.

“If anyone has any names of individuals involved in anti-social behaviour, please get in touch.”

Dozens of reports of youths setting off and throwing fireworks have been made to South Yorkshire Police in the run up to Bonfire Night.

In one incident on Ecclesall Road, yobs threw fireworks at passing vehicles.
