Police officers in Chesterfield helped save the life of a man after spotting that he was unresponsive.
PC’s Stephen O’Callaghan and Ashley Taylor were on patrol on Beetwell Street when they saw the 50-year-old looking unwell
They changed his position to help him breathe and called for an ambulance.
PC O’Callaghan said: “This is a prime example of being in the right place at the right time.
“If we had not have spotted the man sooner, the situation could have been much worse and I am only glad myself and PC Taylor were able to support him whilst waiting for proper medical attention.
“This man is now in the right hands in hospital and it is a relief to hear his condition has improved.”
