South Yorkshire Police said: “Our tutor unit assisted in Endcliffe Park on Sunday. They noted all members of the public were adhering to social distancing, gatherings of no more than six, no littering due to the high number of bins and no anti-social behaviour was noted by officers.”

The force said one small group was searched and found to be in possession of cannabis.

Last week South Yorkshire Police issued an appeal for mobile phone, dash cam and CCTV footage after a brawl in the park earlier this month.
