Police launch ANOTHER investigation after second shooting in Sheffield this weekend

Another police investigation has been launched after another shooting on a Sheffield street.

South Yorkshire Police confirmed today that shots were fired in Meersbrook at around 10.55pm on Friday, January 10.

The incident happened in the Northcote Avenue area, close to Meersbrook Service Station.

Nobody was injured in the gun attack.

A cordon was put in place around the crime scene but the area is no longer under police guard.

No arrests have yet been made.
