Police issue video appeal for information on missing man

The senior police officer in charge of the search for a missing South Yorkshire man has renewed his appeal for information.

Richard Dyson, 55 of was reported missing on Monday, November 25 by his daughter, who was worried that she had not seen or heard from him since Friday, November 15 at 6pm in the Aston area of Rotherham.

Police now believed that Richard – who has links to Elsecar and Hoyland in Barnsley – was last seen on Sunday, November 17 at about 11pm, walking towards the A6135 Sheffield Road, Hoyland, near to Parkside Cottage.

Today (Wednesday, December 11) officers have been carrying out searches in Barnsley and have released a video appeal for information.
