Police issue urgent warning to parents over ‘planned fight’ between pupils at two schools

Killamarsh and Eckington Police SNT took to Facebook to warn parents that children from Eckington School and Wales High School were planning to take part in a fight.

The police team said that they were doing their best to keep the fight from happening but urged parents to keep an eye on their children.

Parents were urged by police to ring 101 or 999 in an emergency if they saw or heard anything last night.

A police spokesperson said: “To all parents of Eckington and Wales high school please keep an eye out where your kids are this evening as we believe there is a”Planned fight” between both schools, we are doing our best to prevent this from happening.

“If anyone sees or hears anything more please contact 101 or 999 in an emergency!”
