Police issue urgent plea after woman, 21, raped by four men in Sheffield park

South Yorkshire Police said ‘even the slightest bit of information could greatly assist’ enquiries.

An investigation was launched after a 21-year-old woman reported being raped in High Hazels Park, Darnall, at around 6pm on Monday, November 23.

Four young men – two described as Eastern European and the other two Asian – were involved in the sex attack.

Police patrols have been stepped up in the wake of the rape.

Detective Inspector Ben Wood said: “It is obviously of the utmost importance we identify those involved as soon as possible.“I want to reassure you that we have officers dedicated to progressing this investigation so we can identify these individuals.“If anyone has any information in relation to this incident then please contact 101. Even the slightest bit of information could greatly assist our enquiries.”
