Police issue statement after reports of shooting on Sheffield estate
A police investigation is under way today after reports of gunshots being heard on a Sheffield estate.

South Yorkshire Police said officers were called to Villiers Close, Arbourthorne, at 9pm on Monday, December 2 following ‘reports that shots had been heard in the Villiers Close area of Sheffield’.
No damage to property or vehicles has been found so far, and there there have been no reports of injuries.
A police cordon is in place while enquiries are carried out at the scene.
