Police hunt drug growers in Sheffield after finding huge cannabis farm

A huge cannabis farm has been busted by police in a Sheffield suburb.

Around 200 plants were discovered inside a property on Howard Road, Walkley, after police were called to reports of a disturbance at the address.

South Yorkshire Police said it was called on Thursday, July 8, at 11.50pm.

A spokesperson for the force said: “On arrival at the scene, officers discovered a large cannabis set up. Around 200 plants were seized and investigations to identify those involved are continuing by local officers.”
