A TEENAGE boy was robbed of his bike as he rode along the Trans-Pennine Trail, police have revealed.

The 15-year-old was attacked as he and two friends were cycling from Renishaw to Rother Valley at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, July 24.

They passed a group of older teenagers who shouted ‘give me your bike’ and began chasing them.

The victim was then punched by two members of the group and his BMX bike was stolen.

It was a Mongoose, with a cream frame, purple front forks, a purple front wheel and a blue rear wheel.
