Police have found a body in the search for a woman who went missing after leaving a Doncaster supermarket

Carol Dickinson, 60 disappeared on Friday, December 4, after she was seen leaving a Tesco in Edenthorpe .

Concerns were raised and an urgent search was launched after Ms Dickinson left the Tesco store in Thorne Road, Edenthorpe, at 11.20am on Friday, December 4.

South Yorkshire Police have confirmed a body was found by officers shortly after midnight on Saturday, December 5.

Formal identification had not yet taken place this morning but police believe the body is that of Ms Dickinson.
