Police growing ‘increasingly concerned’ for safety of missing Sheffield woman

Police are appealing for help to trace a missing Sheffield woman as concerns grow for her welfare.

Funon Ahmed, 22, has gone missing from the Burngreave area of the city.

Funon was last seen at around 6pm last night (Thursday, 28 February) on Rock Street and is thought to have been heading in the direction of Nottingham Street.

Funon is described as being of medium build and has some mobility issues, which cause her to walk with a limp on her left side.

Funon has been missing since Thursday evening.

She is thought to have been wearing a knee-length dark coat, a grey headscarf and a grey dress when she was last seen.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned about Funon’s welfare and are asking anyone with information to contact them urgently.
