Police flood Sheffield street after car ‘slammed brakes and crashed into patrol car’
Police have responded to an incident on Hinde Street in Firth Park where witnesses say a driver ‘crashed into a police car’ before running off.
At least four police cars responded to the incident.
Witnesses said shortly before 7.20pm this evening a black BMW travelled up the road in the direction of the roundabout followed by police.
They then said the BMW driver “slammed brakes on and reversed in to the police car and ran off.”
